There really hasn\u2019t been much going on with mom to speak of. Sometimes no news is good news. I\u2019m not sure if it\u2019s been the changes in weather, the recent rainy days, or what but mom has been especially tired and lethargic these last couple of days. I went in to see her yesterday and she was very weak and didn\u2019t speak much. She actually dozed off a couple of times when I was there. She\u2019s still eating well (with help) which is good news, but her lack of energy and look on her face can be a little concerning. Yesterday she did have a different look, like something just isn\u2019t right. Like I said, maybe the weather or maybe she is starting to come down with a cold. We\u2019re keeping lots of eyes on her. The great thing about where she is is that the staff who work with her really care a lot about her. They stop in frequently to check on her (even though she has her own private duty caregiver). I\u2019m just so relieved to know that she\u2019s not sitting alone for most of the day.<\/p>\n
Mom has a couple of friends going to visit today. Her faithful neighbor, H and another neighbor who I\u2019m not familiar with. Hopefully this will lift her up a little bit. There are days when mom looks good, seems content, and is just hanging out but doing well. Then there are days when she looks like she\u2019s just running out of steam.
