A request has been submitted to her doctor (new psychiatrist) and I’m hoping she gets to it ASAP. Cyndie and I talk to her several times a day trying to convince her that she is loved and we want her to get better because she’s so imbalanced she doesn’t believe us.

We are seeing what so often happens with people as they age and they can no longer live on their own. She feels neglected, unloved, and like everyone is against her. Unfortunately there isn’t much more that we are able to do for her. We continue to try to convince her that those things simply aren’t true but she responds with nastiness and negativity. Sadly, she’s going to end up chasing away the few people who go out of their way to see her regularly.

We ask that you just keep her in your prayers and that they are able to get her on a medication that will make her feel better. We miss the old SueB. The woman who I see is not my mom. I have to remember that, although it’s honestly becoming difficult. Rest assured, she is being very well taken care of. The staff there is amazing. They continue to love on her and care for her even though she’s been difficult and challenging. Pray that she will soften, understand that she is loved, and that she can remember to smile and learn to be happy with *something*. She needs hope. Please pray for that.

I do believe that the med change from her doctor a couple of weeks ago has been the major contributor…

[1

post-868","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
